Description
This Friedericy porcelain fairy doll design features a sweet fairy girl with strawberry blonde hair sitting inside a silver shadow box wooden frame. The fairy wears a pink skirt and white lace floral design. She wears knitted white knickers below her skirt. The bodice of her dress is painted pink with gold around the neckline and at her waist and her sleeves are made from an ivory and gold netting material. He pale pink, gold and lavender wings are tipped with small gold beads. In her hand she holds a pink glass bead.
The wooden frame is silver. The shadow box is lined in white paper with a raised silver spiral design. A hanger for framing is secured at the top of the frame in the back or the frame could sit in a picture frame stand. The frame with shadowbox measures 10″ tall x 8″ wide x 2″ deep. The fairy’s feet dangle about 1/2″ below the bottom of the frame.
