Description
This sweet Friedericy porcelain fairy doll design features a sweet fairy girl with dark red hair sitting inside a gold shadow box wooden frame. The fairy wears a semi-sheer white tone on tone skirt with embroidered leaves accented with silver sparkles. Beneath the gray skirt is a cream colored silk skirt. She wears knitted white knickers below her skirt that match her sleeves. The bodice of her dress is painted pale gray. He gold wings and brown wings are tipped with small gold beads. In her hand she hold a small gold and pastel multi colored cloisonee ball.
The wooden frame is two toned gold and brown. The shadow box is lined in white paper with shiny gold dots. A hanger for framing is secured at the top of the frame in the back or the frame could sit in a picture frame stand. The frame with shadowbox measures 9″ tall x 7″ wide x 2.25″ deep. The fairy’s feet dangle about 2″ below the bottom of the frame.
