Corey Silverman

Corey Silverman is a nationally recognized glass artist known for his one-of-a-kind hand-blown vessels and sculptural forms. His work is represented in galleries across the country and is distinguished by its rich color, graceful form, and sense of movement.

Corey received his BFA in glass from Alfred University in Alfred, New York. After graduating in 1998, he worked with several glass studios around the country before settling in Denver, Colorado, in 1999.

Over the years, Corey has explored a wide range of glassmaking techniques, including slumping, casting, cold working, solid sculpting, and blowing. Although his experimentation has taken him in many directions, he has always returned to the immediacy of the blown form.

He is especially drawn to the spontaneity of working with molten glass and the satisfaction of seeing a piece take shape in real time. Each work is blown individually by hand, making every vessel and sculptural form unique.

At Arts and Souls, we feature Corey’s hand-blown pumpkins and gourds, along with select vessels and other art glass pieces. His work transforms familiar forms into richly colored, beautifully crafted objects of art.
