Arts&Souls began with a love of art, handcrafted work, and the people who create it. Founded in 2000 by artist and owner Susan Losey, Arts&Souls grew from a lifelong appreciation for distinctive, imaginative pieces and the desire to share the work of talented artists with others.

Susan, a watercolor artist herself, began collecting art in her twenties. In 1993, she discovered Little Souls Dolls and was immediately drawn to their personality, artistry, and individuality. That early interest eventually helped inspire the creation of Arts&Souls.

After years in the computer industry, Susan left the practical day job behind to pursue a more creative path and build Arts&Souls as an online gallery. Based in Greenville, South Carolina, her business has evolved over the years while remaining focused on distinctive artist-made treasures.

The collection has included Little Souls Dolls, handcrafted jewelry, studio glass, artist bears and animals, painted works, seasonal creations, and other unusual pieces chosen for their artistry and character. Most of the artists represented by Arts&Souls are based in the United States, with select artist bears and animals from the United Kingdom and Australia.

Little Souls Dolls have been part of Arts&Souls continuously since the gallery opened in 2000, and Susan has worked with artist Gretchen Wilson from the beginning. That long relationship reflects what Arts&Souls has always been about — appreciating the artist behind the work and offering pieces that feel personal, imaginative, and beautifully made.
